This round of financing is jointly completed by China Merchants Group and Tianjin TEDA Haihe intelligent manufacturing industry development fund. This round of financing will help North microsystems further increase investment in new product research and development, and provide customers with products and services covering all frequency bands, better performance and high reliability; It is expected to comprehensively accelerate the release of production capacity within one year, reach the production capacity of 2 billion filter chips per year, and help the development of domestic RF front-end chip industry.
Founded in 2011, North micro system is one of the few domestic high-end bulk acoustic wave (BAW) filter suppliers with large-scale stable delivery capacity, stable production yield, complete product variety and high product performance. After more than ten years of R & D accumulation, the core team has adopted new materials, new structures, new processes, new design concepts and methods to create a new icbar technical route. 505 patents have been applied for and authorized in the domestic and international BAW field, including 146 PCT patents, which has established strong technical barriers and first mover advantages in filter design, device structure, process, packaging and other aspects.
At present, there are more than 500 developed and mature products of North microsystem, and the products also have a variety of packaging forms to choose from, mainly including WLP chip, plastic packaging and ceramic shell packaging. While ensuring excellent performance, it will further provide more flexible and cost-effective RF front-end chip selection for end customers. The series products of North micro system have gradually entered the supply chain system of many well-known mobile communication terminal brand manufacturers and ODM manufacturers at home and abroad. By July 2021, the cumulative shipment of bulk acoustic wave filter chips of North microsystem had exceeded 500 million.
